Ok, this is just a random rant to see if anyone is listening. Gamers out there we need to create the next generation of gamers soon so that we can keep a game and legacy going. Now I have talked to gamers and I have seen a few gamers that have passed the game book to their sons and daughters but this needs to spread to their friends and their communities.
Now my son has taken a liking to games but has no friends that have come over... yet. We hope to move soon to a place where that is a more common place. My son Mo wants to play and it's is fun; I just need to find a community that would be more warm to their neighbors and friends. (Man I miss gaming.)
Back in the old days (a decade ago) I had pals that would gather together and eat and play games until late into the night. Now I have children and live in a place that is a bit cold to neubs like me and my family (mainly because we don't share the community's religion. I want to move back and soon so that me and my son can experience this together.
This blog is for those that enjoy all Rifts, Palladium and Heroes Unlimited games that we have. I am writing anything and everything that comes to mind on the subject. Recently I have started to add new material that could be used by a GM that would improve the game for other GM's and their players. I have invited new writers and hope to add new material with these other writers.

Cyberspace 2

Man I am having trouble writing this. Every time I think that I have an edge on it, more wild ideas some rushing in my head. That and the characters that have to be created to enhance the experience. That and these pictures that add to the experience don't fit on all the work (pictures make the article).
Lately I have been looking up movies and talking to family and friends attempting to find out about the things that they want to see in the whole article. Bit by bit it should come but for now I really need to do those characters.

Rifter 0.1
I just submitted the text that is going to be in the Rifter (at least I hope). Unfortunately its not the Media Magic that I'd hope to submit. That is going back on the burner for a redo. i am in the writing spirit again though and am working on some old pieces that were originally put on the stove to steam while other fresh new ideas bubble up.
Its interesting that when I get reading novels that the ideas begin to flow. I thought that that also applied to reading the scriptures (and it does) only but I was wrong. When I get to reading great writing then I get motivated. I have been working on my pieces and talking to some of my greatest critics to get feed back on the work that was already submitted and to get new ideas from them as to where to take this and its amazing what friends and family can do (you know who you are). At any rate I am going to be working on the fresh stuff and redoing some of the old for the next Rifter and assuming that there is going to be a Swimsuit issue for this coming year (2009) I am working on some new villainesses for that issue as well.
Life here in Virginia is good.

Rifter 0.1
I have been working on a project of media magic and it has been a struggle as it keeps getting cool ideas and expanding. I hope to have the creature done by the deadline of October. Currently I have only half of it done as I have not done the Media Magi O.C.C. and some other ideas that are stewing in my mind. It just gets hard to keep up with being a parent and writer at the same time. Don't forget working for a great employer who is generous; man its good to be me.
I am going to have to have some help getting this off the ground. Maybe some cousins or friends would help.

Themed Beings
In the past I have made themed villains but I was wondering if themed is what people wanted or random that was wacky and crazy. Personally I like themed super beings as they are the more famous characters. Batman, Spider-man, Joker, Captain America etc... all are memorable characters because they have a theme to them and character.
That being said one other thing is the theme villain that has a disadvantage. The big ones are the ones that are physically disabled or otherwise perminately injured. Dare-Devil comes to mind that although is not a real theme character still strikes to mind a character that has a theme to them selves.
I am currently working on two villains groups and in these groups I can't help but follow suite with a themed group of beings bent on using their themed fighting style to defeat the heroes. Now, it would always be nice to know if I am approaching it well or if I should do something more off the wall. The fear lies in the possibility of being an adventure not remembered because of the villain; then again its HU2.
