Recently I have started to add new material that could be used by a GM that would improve the game for other GM's and their players. I have invited new writers and hope to add new material with these other writers.Nathan Binghamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07176689860022731081noreply@blogger.comBlogger83125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-89720018991519352672020-03-22T14:31:00.001-07:002020-03-22T14:31:25.123-07:00PhaseWorld another unwrittenI wondered why people have not written more about the wars, societies and histories of just one empire over the other. I realized that making each empire unique focusing on one or the other would miss something. <div><br></div><div>My biggest example is the Wulfen. Being torn between two empires means that would include and flesh out one and leave out the other. Piece by piece is what is necessary to 1) create adventure and 2) create ground rules how cultures act around each other. </div><div> One guy admire on the forums at <a href="https://palladium-megaverse.com/forums/index.php.">Palladium Books</a> has a ton of great ideas that are fleshed out and so usable. I would love to see all his work in a single Rifter (or two). The making of ideas is seriously fun and exciting. </div>Nathan Binghamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07176689860022731081noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-18611688473374746492014-04-02T22:24:00.002-07:002014-04-04T12:41:57.890-07:00MDC Modification for the SDC Fan<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="MsoNormal">
So here is my house rules for a MDC world that I think
others will enjoy. My inspiration comes from an SDC game that I am playing
about a Palladium Fantasy parallel world called Regnum. Our house rule have me
the inspiration (so thank you Brian and Jayson) to figure out how to enjoy MDC.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
In the rules of the original print of Rifts there were rules
for being bumped around but they were so vague and convoluted that most players
don’t use them; can't blame them. It was a situation that if you were in MDC
of any kind you were invulnerable. MDC had to be destroyed before you got the
soft insides. For MDC creatures they were immune to stun, bleeding profusely,
basically a need to run because you could heal quickly and run away scathed but
not without rapid healing; ridiculous. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I have a ton of Rifts books but have never played Rifts
because MDC pissed me off (and if you are wondering just how many Rifts books I
have, I would say I have almost all of them, really, I am short about 10 of the
total). So I have stewed on the idea and finally I think I have come up with a resolution
for those Rifts gamers that don’t want to convert the whole game so that they
can even play or give it a armor rating for each thing.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>Rules for the Living<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><br></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Say you have a dragon with a butt load of MDC, well how do
you make them fear you? My rules would be if a player is able to roll a natural
20 or modified 24, the player has hit the spot that not only have they done
double damage but now bleeding damage has occurred (-10% of the total damage
coming from the wound). The alternative is that if they hit a limb that it is
severely injured (that means flying is slowed by 20%, running is cut to half or
their arm has lost half strength and is -2 to strike, parry and dodge with all
bonuses lost till the (any of them) limb is healed). </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Now this didn't seem like much but it I am not looking to
cripple the game just give it flavor. I mean Kevin gave such flavor to vampires
and their rules (look at Rifts World 2: Vampire Kingdoms, the revised version (told you I had a lot of
books). </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>Rules for the Machine<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><br></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<a href="http://1-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/tg/image/1354/12/1354124949129.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/tg/image/1354/12/1354124949129.jpg" height="206" width="320"></a>When it comes to personal armor the character is a turtle in
a shell. Grab the guy by the limb and shake him like a ragdoll you could kill
him. Throw his glitter boy off the edge of a cliff and the pilot (and anyone else
on board) could take a beating without really doing much damage to the
exterior. This is not about burning holes in helmets with a single shot but
more about impact damage. If you have a Broodkill beat a CS soldier in his
armor, the old rule was until the armor is destroyed, they were safe. Not now!
In the modified rules for each impact blow (this excludes lasers and energy
attacks) the guy inside gets 10% damage from each blow so blows that do 10 MDC
would do 1 SDC to the guy inside. That wouldn't be much for those in body armor
but if they were say in a Spider Skull Walker and it was tossed off the edge,
the pilots, gunners etc would receive 1D6 damage for each 10 feet that walker
fell and for each time a dragon punched the walker the crew would feel the blow
(similar to a scene on Startrek when the ship is hit) and a Natural 20 or
modified 24 would do internal damage to the sensors, weapon systems or
targeting, etc. The screen would blank out or calibration would be wrong and so
that shots would suddenly miss. Perhaps a limb locks up and mobility slows to
half the robots attacks or slows to half speed because of the damage and delay.
For GM’s I would use the MDC location as a model for your personal critical
table. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br></div>
<br>
<div class="MsoNormal">
So yea now you know. You do the double damage but now the
heroes and villains will have a reason to retreat from combat for something
other than being down to your last 10 MDC. Enjoy.<br>

The Piranha Frog is a creature that is described as an
innocent looking creature that swims at a casual speed to the shore and hops
around occasionally looking at those on the beach. The two distinguishing red
stripes on their back and look of a fish eyes on their back, the chin and eye brows
is what separates them from the other races as it is red; that and the three foot tongue
that has four distinct spurs at the end. When the frogs are hungry, they come
to shore to eat anything that is warm-blooded, because it can’t see in the
conventional way only see warm bodies. It goes after things that are about its
body size and weight so larger creatures are out of the question.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>However if the creature is desperate enough,
it does have the strength to take down a gnome, child or small dwarf or with

Modern will be New Orleans, and so will likely have Zombies. It is pretty standard Dresden Files, so let me explain my vision for WWII<br />
<br />
The team will be a group of mortals or light supernatural characters who are all members of the OSS. They're behind enemy lines, far from support and the weird euphemism begins happening.<br />
<br />
We'd be looking at starting with 6 refresh, so there's not really much you can do in a supernatural sense. I'd prefer if the max refresh that is spent on power didn't exceed -3 (after catches and other drawbacks of course), with each of the charcters growing organically during the course of the adventure. (IE a White Court Virgin going full White Court in play at a necessary moment).<br />
<br />
Nazi Vampires, Ancient Horrors, and maybe even a Unicorn or two, Europe will be your entire setting and you'll go where the mission, or investigation, takes you.Richard Craighttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822385570310616029noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-28024793851467435662013-09-20T12:58:00.001-07:002013-09-20T13:00:08.164-07:00Voting SuggestionWe have a lot of different game options for next year for our gaming group. With all of them that are being posted, I think now is a great time to start narrowing down.<br />
<br />
It was proposed that each potential GM only present one idea, so the best thing to do would be to put a response to this post with your preferred games for each potential GM. This way, the most votes of their suggestions will be the one they will present.<br />
<br />
Just tack it on in the comments section. We should be nice and not allow GMs to vote on their own worlds, letting the rest of us have an unbiased choice. Again, this is not for the final vote, just for the game that will be presented on Oct 4th.Richard Craighttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822385570310616029noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-7576126984314123622013-09-19T20:35:00.001-07:002013-09-19T20:35:53.598-07:00Nightbane: Broken LawOption 5 (I think)<br />
<br />
Heres an idea. The players play Nightbane (or the like) that have strong afiliations with a Truth Seekers club that goes missing. Clues left by the Seekers take them on a wild trip round the whole country. Meanwhile, a half trusting federal agent (that thinks that they are guilty of something and wants them to turn themselves in) is on their tail unaware that the Nightlords are also on their tail to stop the truth and the agent helping them.Nathan Binghamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07176689860022731081noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-91257487542223048452013-09-18T18:03:00.001-07:002013-09-19T20:42:14.963-07:00Phase World: RunnersCharacters are prisoners of the 'Empire' (I havent named it yet, maybe the Human Alliance or Coalition), a small empire of six solar systems (that means at least 4 dozen planets and three times that in moons and space stations). They are attempting to join the CCW. The ship is attacked by pirates who have ambition of freeing some key players to their attempts to stop the empire from protection and expansion. The characters are left on the barge to die but are saved by the empire who wants to take down the pirates and keep a low involvement so that they can get in the CCW and look good to the inspectors. Its a race against the pirates and ill informed CCW and government officials. What government secrets will be revealed and what secrets will be hidden while attempting to get into the greatest free world empire in three galaxies. <br />
<br />
This story will have a government similar to the Wolfen government in Palladium Fantasy (with its barage of sub governments), political intruge and each character will have a crimial past (I leave it up to the player to decide how they landed in jail; white collar crimes, political prisoner etc.). I hope to have some mystery and racing to get answers to what is really going on. It should be fun.Nathan Binghamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07176689860022731081noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-55788588416290281292013-09-17T22:44:00.000-07:002013-09-19T01:26:31.522-07:00Regnum the FallPlease enjoy this power point that describes why I think we should play this game.<br />
<br />
The group I game with on Friday's is voting on our next campaign we will be playing for the next year. Each of us wishing to be a GM for the group will be posting our idea here as a new post. I have wanted to explore an idea for a new world. To those in the game, please post a comment. Don't vote yet, rather post a character you would like to play in my campaign. I have a fairly flushed out OP campaign site that should help answer most questions.<br />
<br />
So I would like to introduce:
<iframe src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1yFbkTQSLoop882J3jI_ffp6hxGtoZzwES_rQh8i-nSI/embed?start=false&loop=true&delayms=5000" frameborder="0" width="555" height="433" allowfullscreen="true" mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true"></iframe>AZ RUNEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13200833554593424504noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-21188691857831133782013-09-08T21:57:00.000-07:002013-09-08T22:00:15.114-07:00Heroes Unlimited: The Beginning of a SagaNate and I have pondered on a 3 part Heroes Unlimited Saga. The first part would highlight a group of heroes that were coming of age. They would sort of start out much like a minor hero or a low powered hero. Nevertheless, they would have great potential. Nate suggests that they be teenagers. Thus, they might have great power but inexperience in using that said power. However it is spun, this first part is about finding out what it means to be a hero.
<br><br><br><br>
The second part would be an extention of where our heroes end up pending the first part. We would either continue playing the same heroes with minor modifications, or design new characters. Regardless, our previous heroes who have "all grown up" will either be PC's or NPC's in this next installment. The focus of the second part in the saga would be we are distinguished heroes, known throughout the world. We discover a huge catastrophy and become "Earth's Only Hope". This part will focus on becoming a global level hero.
<br><br><br><br>
The final part in the Hero Saga, our second characters again are turned into NPC's. Our new heroes continue where we left off, discovering that the global plot has become even greater. We discover we are not alone on this floating rock, and the threats up there may decimate humanity. Thus, "we take to the stars" to unseed the greater plot and defend the Earth once more in an epic galactic struggle. The theme of this final campaign is how and when a hero becomes "Cosmic!"
<br><br><br><br>
Each of these campaigns would stretch for a year a piece. But they do not have to be played consecutively. Thus, my proposal would be the first installment of this saga, The Prelude of Heroes...Jaysonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01727417965239289577noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-79649131367712045372013-09-06T18:16:00.002-07:002013-09-06T18:17:58.689-07:00Blake Chronicles (Option 2)<span style="color: white;">It is Chicago, 1926. The prohibition era is in full swing and criminals jockey for position in the seedy underworld that is this iconic city of the past.<br /><br />Not all of these criminals are human.<br /><br />The players take on the roles of individuals devoted to dealing with the supernatural. This is a continuation of an ongoing campaign that most of the players in our group have played already. For information about who is who, and what is up, visit the campaign on Obsidian Portal: <a href="http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/blake-chronicles">http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/blake-chronicles</a><br /><br />This will be using the Dresden Files RPG system with is a variant of the FATE system. There are few, if any, house rules, and mostly deal with how Fate points are awarded. We are all familiar with the system and would be ready and willing to teach the new guy the ropes :)</span>Richard Craighttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09822385570310616029noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-25036372533956853472013-09-06T18:02:00.001-07:002013-09-06T18:13:45.803-07:00It's Good to be Evil (Option 1)<div dir="ltr" id="docs-internal-guid-272e1dcb-f5f0-3dfe-3a2e-24fe24ff2ae8" style="line-height: 1.15; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

We’ll be using the Pathfinder race rules. You will start in XP debt equal to the number of levels your race confers. For non monster non standard races, it is 1 level per 10 RP rounded up. Debt is only incurred for values greater than 1. Because of problems with monster races the last time we did this, you will start at a level equal to the CR as your race. When debt + cost of the next level has been paid, you will gain your first class level. Yes, this basically means you are multiclassing. Yes it means you get ‘free’ levels. You will pay for these over the course of play. You also ‘pay’ for these in other ways, as you are a multiclass character. Round fractions for CR down. The DM reserves the right to disallow any race choice if it would be too unbalancing. </span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">ABSOLUTELY NO IMPS, DEVILS, OR OTHER INFERNALS.</span></span></div>

<span style="color: white;"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Alternative options: As there are some people in the group who have a problem with playing evil characters we could alter this to being It’s Good to be Neutral. All of the characters would need to be True Neutral, or in other words devoted to the balance between good and evil/Law and Chaos.</span></span></div>

Each potential GM will be posting their ideas here as a new post. I have several ideas that I am wanting to explore, so does Nate. For the gang, please post a comment to each posted idea. Don't vote yet, rather post a plausible character you would like to play in that campaign given the restraints of the respective GM.
<br><BR>
<BR>
<BR>
So without further ado, I would like to GM a Rifts Campaign. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://cdn.obsidianportal.com/assets/168469/Rifts_Logo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://cdn.obsidianportal.com/assets/168469/Rifts_Logo.jpg" /></a></div>We can't actually profess to support Palladium Megaversal System, and not have a Rifts campaign under our belts! Rifts is a huge universe with LOTS of munchkinism. This makes it a bit difficult to control the story. But I believe I have a great angle:
<br><BR>
<BR>
<BR>
"Rifts now riddle the Earth. D-Bee's are now among us. Humans are divided throughthe world, choosing sides of Machine vs Magic. But, that is not our real threat! For centuries dragons have been thought to be extinct. Now the Rifts have brought them back. Many humans believe they are wise and are here to help man...but this could not be further from the truth. Unravel the hidden resurfacing of the dragons. Uncover their motives and orginaztion. And vanquish them from Rifts Earth before all humanity is lost. Your party will have to unite the political factions of humans and D-Bees to battle this growing threat. But don't be pulled into the already rampant war going on between the humans, else you will lose!
<br><BR>
<BR>
<BR>
Thought the Spluggorth were bad, the DRAGON KINGS will rock their world!!
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
Type of Characters: The only O.C.C. and R.C.C. that would be off limits would be a Dragon, since they will be the main antagonist. You will want to have a character that believes in the preservation of THIS world. Furthermore, you will be going toe to toe with hordes of Dragons...so keep that in mind.
I am excited to see your character submissions!Jaysonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01727417965239289577noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-30882233650165993412013-08-24T15:16:00.002-07:002013-11-26T14:47:11.518-08:00New Palladium Creature: Warkor<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>

<b>Description:</b> The warkor is a creature that is large like a rhino and tough like one too with this exception, the warkor is mild gentle and a grazer. This creature was a war mount of the Chaos Wars and when the war was over and it was time to put things in their place, because of bad memories, this creature was put behind the stone curtain of the Northern Wilderness to fend for itself.<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
These gentle giants are also in remote areas near the Nimro mountains and are used as a beast of burden and wagon pulling. This beast has a tougher meat and heaver hide just perfect for those rougher winters or giant lifestyle.</div>

The creature might be bovine in behavior but has no horns but a tough thick skull and tusker like fangs. Their padded feet allow them to displace their immense weight evenly so that they can run and move. Jumping is not possible but rearing up on their hind legs is. Their roar can be heard for about a half mile and sounds like a tuba being blasted.<br />
<br />
What makes this creature unique is that it has the inate ability to smell fairie mushrooms and decern from the poison ones. Those that hone this creature's tallents are able to get the mushroom and upon eating it gain a +20 to their P.P.E. for 24 hours until the effects of the magic fungus disipates. These creatures have become (because of this) coveted by man and fairie alike and can be found grazing near fairie rings protected by the fairie folk. </div>

The Shinies are a mild peaceful
collective of creatures, which love all things shiny. They love shiny
things so much that the mischievous creatures will use their magic to acquire
it. Silver spoons to Rune Swords its all the same to the Shinies. They just
want to get their hands on it. Their initial attack is to wait for the victims
to sleep then use their magic to further induce sleep. Then “trade” the victims,
their shiny thing, for something non-shiny. Those who catch on to the Shinies before
they trade can negotiate with them for a larger “shiny” thing by giving them a
smaller “shiny” thing, but that’s as far as they can be by in their trade can
go.<o:p></o:p><br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
The Shinies have a dark side too. When the
Shinies are attacked they are provoked to anger. They become so angry that they
use their magic to subdue their target than bite the living day lights out of
their victim (not to the death but to the pain). You can rob the dead only once is a common saying. Some die; those who survive usually do because of good armor or racial
characteristics. <o:p></o:p><br />

Oscar was not supposed to survive the bioengineering test. He
accidentally entered the test room and when he entered the door slammed shut
with him inside. He was only there to
move clean some papers. No one can figure out what happened because the team
has only used clones for ‘human’ testing. With the death of each clone the project was
doomed to fail. Mr. Cleaver was going to give the project the thumbs down in
the week when Oscar went into that room.
Originally he was going to pick up the papers and leave but he knew that
he was going to lose his job when the project so he decided to eat lunch in the
room and with that thought he sat in a desk chair and leaned on the consul. It
was his drink that spilled on the consul that sent off the project and the
cellular modulation synthesizer turned on and fired at the only cellular
creature in the room, Oscar. What happened next was a fat overweight and under
paid maintenance man was transformed into a lean mean fighting machine. The process could have been duplicated has
the machine been turned off but while Oscar was being transformed the machine
was overheating. The explosion should have
killed Oscar. It would be a month before Oscar would be released, skin severely
burned, blind in one eye and right hand deformed. For several weeks after he
healed but he could never use his hand nor see very well. Then it happened, the
DNA that has been changed by the experiment kicked in. While sitting on a
street corner begging for money, some thieves decided to rob him and out of
defense he covered his face with his arms expecting the worse. From within a
fire ignited and Oscar snapped. He was not going to be robbed again. As one
villain raised his bat to strike the young man from Oscar’s withered hand a
spinning blade fired and sawed the villain in half. The second assailant
shocked, began to run but didn’t make it more than twenty feet before being
killed by the same spinning blade that had killed the first creep. Because it
was in the street alley ways, the death of the two was not witnessed. Oscar
took the money and rebuilt himself to become the new vigilante SAW.<o:p></o:p></div>

<br />
Randy looked up though his broken glasses. The rim on the right size was tapped and he had not taken time to have it replaced.<br />
"What do you want Marlin?"<br />
Standing over him was a large structured man and was one of the QB's in college.He had his hair pulled back in a pony tail and a large grin showing his perfect teeth.His arms were loaded with a reams worth of paper. As he let it go it banged on the desk with a thud.<br />
"What the...?"<br />
Randy was about to jump up but Marlin's face didn't change. <br />
"We... and I mean you... are pulling an all nighter."<br />
"What!"<br />
"Don't interrupt NERD... as I was saying "we" are pulling an all nighter. Professor Jones as commissioned us to exercise the fullest extent on a theory on a new dimension called Cyberspace."<br />
The college freshman's face changed to one of disgust and frustration. <br />
"What?"<br />
The Proof says that there is an additional dimension besides the two that he discovered and wants us to write on his theories of this new digital dimension.<br />
"The internet?"<br />
Randy was now pissed. He was sure that this ape was playing with him.<br />
"No Jefferson..."<br />
"Einstein?"<br />
"What ever! He wants us to explore the possibility that there is life in Cyberspace."<br />
"Whats the papers?"<br />
"The Proof says that these papers are text written by an ancient race of beings that have seen and lived in the realm."<br />
"Oh no. I am not being sucked into this. I have a date tonight this will wait!"<br />
"No Nerd, it won't. The Proof says that some of these scrolls have supposed ancient mystic properties that lead to the dimension and we are going to figure out what it is and form a hypothessss...... hypooothaaaa..."<br />
"Hypothesis" <br />
"Yea, that and then figure out a way to get to this place."<br />
Marlin stood back his face a glow with what he said.Randy was not amused.<br />
"Really?"<br />
"Yup. Get started."<br />
Marlin turned on his heal with the intention of walking out.<br />
"No", Randy spoke mater-of-fact.<br />
Marlins face changed. He slammed his fists down on the desk and got into Randy's face. The expression was that of rage and Randy was certain that he could kill him if he got the chance.Randy back down his face that expressed courage and disgust was now scrambling to adjust the broken lenses on his face. <br />
"Listen Nerd! I knew that you would not cooperate so you had your chance and this research is going to be done."<br />
Randy was seized by the nap of his collar and pulled into Marlins face. From behind Marlin the sound of the door opening came.<br />

Image is provided by <a href="http://www.stargazersworld.com/2011/05/18/being-a-better-game-master-credit-where-credit-is-due/">Star Gazer.</a><br />
<br />
<i>By the way this site that I got the image from is a good reference for GM knowledge too. </i><br />
<br />
Ok I have no ten commandments but I was working on it. The concept intrigues me.My cousin and I have thought of ground principles that might help with being a game master. Among them would be some ground rules that might be guidelines as to measure the scales. For example I would say that if the characters do something there needs to be a ripple not necessarily a consequence or reward but something that says that they were there. If you bring up a sword, barn, fisherman (noun) etc. and the characters affect it then there is going to be consequence of your actions because the game is all about the characters. Like a novel or movie, a game is all about the characters and that sometimes means notes. If there is a fisherman that is affected have someone save a note as to what they did to affect them. If the GM describes a sword and its discarded by the characters, if you took time to create it have it show up again. If the characters burn down a barn or just sleep in it mark the impact.<br />
<br />
The other point that I needed to make is ground principles need to be understood. Like if you swing the pendulum one direction (bad guys have the characters cornered) then have it swing in the opposite direction just as equal (help is on the way). The deeper the trouble for the characters, the greater the means to get out of the trouble. That being said if the characters dug themselves into the problem in the first place I would recommend a slower (yet equal) means of getting out.<br />
<br />
Star Trek talks about a prime directive (ground rules that they will not break or have a great reason for breaking them) and N.P.C.'s should have a prime directive. Personally it should tie to their occupation, the one skill they are known for or history with the characters. Something that says that no matter what they will not break that rule (unless something comes up that is strong enough to break it; ie love, envy, hate, greed, jealousy etc.) Remember that this is an overwhelming sensation that forces them to break the code not just a whim.<br />
<br />
Ill do more when I come to more inspiration and I hope to have Jayson and his brother Ron write something as well. Should you have an interest in putting in something into this pot please let me know. I would love to have your GM input. Nathan Binghamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07176689860022731081noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6659635693572402379.post-77565633691730460692013-05-22T05:00:00.000-07:002013-05-22T05:00:31.934-07:00Arboreal Dwarves RevisitedLooking back at some old posts, I noticed that I never finished my post regarding the Arboreal Dwarves.<br />
<br />
Due to agressive predatorization of all humanoid races by the vicious ****** in the Mountains of ***** the Dwarves were pushed out of their earthen homes and into the tall protective Trees of Uzaram-kirikhul. Centuries passed and the Dwarves adapted to this new home. They became quite adept to life in the canopies high off the ground. Their culture left behind many of the old ways, and embraced their new life in the trees. They began to call themselves the Khazurmazad. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://th09.deviantart.net/fs51/PRE/i/2009/334/a/2/Dwarf_Warrior_by_Shryland.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="2" height="320" src="http://th09.deviantart.net/fs51/PRE/i/2009/334/a/2/Dwarf_Warrior_by_Shryland.jpg" width="265" ya="true" /></a></div>
<br />
One important change that happened was a change in leadership. Where ancient dwarves follow a lineage of Kings, these new Arboreal Dwarves had a lineage of Queens. The reason for this was simple. After the great devastation of the Dwarves by the vicious ******, many males had been killed. All their Kings were dead and no one stood in line to take up their fallen crowns, none but the strong women who survived. It was the first Khazurmazad Queen that led her people to the trees and saved them from a cruel death. The prouder men, stayed behind and were slain. Because of this leadership, women and beauty are highly regarded by the Arboreal Dwarf Clans. Today, Arboreal Dwarf Clans are lead by a council of Dwarven Queens. <br />
<br />
Other dwarven races that adhere more to the older ways assume that the Khazurmazad are soft because of their choice of leadership. But, this is not true. Arboreal Dwarves are just as hardy, stout and aggressive as any other dwarven race, if not more so. The reason for this is their competitive culture. The greatest honor for a male Arboreal Dwarf is to be choosen to be the mate of one of the Queens. The Queens choose a different mate for each different offspring that they birth. The mate is chosen only after proofing themselves worthy through perilous contest, some that pit male against male. Other contest involve the great Zurm-menemel Arenas where dwarven males fight against each other and other ferocious aboreal beasts. <br />
<br />
The Zurm-menemel are great wooden pits that are suspended from the the tops of trees. They are designed like a funnel. Those who fall within the pit are dragged to the center and fall to their deaths. Tied to various parts of the pit are huge amount of rope rigging. The Zurm-menemel serve as a means of weeding out the weakest of their race, and to breed strength. It is also a training ground for arboreal skills that are needed in survival in the trees. Lastly, it is the means by which the Queens choose their mates, thus progressing their species. As such, the Zurm-menemel are a VERY important part of the Arboreal Dwarf culture. <br />
<br />
Arboreal Dwarves are masters at training the giant Uzharmutunzel, Wooly Mammoth Spider. They breed and raise the giant Uzharmutunzel. Young Khazurmaz Dwarves learn early to care for the spiders and their eggs. Weapons of the Khazurmazad are entirely hewn from the wood taken from the Uzaram-kirikhul trees. It is near the strength of iron. The Uzaram-kirikhul trees are are several hundred feet high. <br />

<br />
Nate and I have been pushing around this idea a long time. I remember the first day he told me about creating Cyberspace as a world for Nightbane. I was still living in Moscow, ID going to school. I was on an errand getting groceries at Winco supermarket. The idea was so compelling that I stayed in the parking lot discussing the possibilities with Nate, rather than finish my errand. By the time we were down, most certainly an hour had gone by. We summed up everything, yet we knew that we had only taken the first bite of this elephant.
<br />
Years passed and sadly so did this idea. Even sadder still, I dropped contact with my cousin for several years. The pangs of long distance separates the closest of bonds. Yet, fate intervened. Out of the blue Nate sent me an invite to his Obsidian Portal game. I had just freed up some time with my busy life; and I needed something to cheer me up from a depressing adjuct in my life. Thus, it seemed like a great idea to pick up gaming once more in my life. To Nate's surprise and delight, I told him yes!
<br />
Once again we began to interweave a legacy of ideas fueled by our combined imaginations. It was very exciting. Though, Cyberspace was not part of those early conversations in our reunion. Rather, we focused about a beautiful Heroes Unlimited plot. It was a plot as thick as pea soup, riddled with intrigue and deceit! But this is not our topic; I digress. Soon we returned to Cyberspace picking up where we had left off. But one thing had always bothered me about the idea. There never seemed to be a solid REASON for the Nightbane to ENTER Cyberspace. We needed to have a stronger motive!
<br />
I put my thinking cap on and went to work. I threw tons of ideas at Nate, some of them good (but not quite great), and others down right terrible. This went back and forth futility. We almost tanked the whole thing, until the idea hit me. CONNECTION! Cyberspace is all about connection. In the real world we use Cyberspace to connect ourselves with everyone else. We have Facebook and Twitter. We send emails. We create websites of information. We participate in forums. You right now are connected to my ideas and Nate's ideas through this very blog. So why should the motive behind Nightbane' Cyberspace be any different.
<br />
We began to lay out this plan with Connections as the center. As you will find out more, the motives became SO STRONG we had to pull back a bit. We feared that we were overshadowing the Core of Nightbane. Now with the finishing touches we just placed on this plot TODAY, all GM's will be blown away with what is coming down the pike. Just as the Matrix blew your mind the first time you saw it. Our Cyberspace will pull you in and won't let go. We have captured everything that is great about Nightbane: the mystery, the history, the conspiracy, the intrigue, the dark motives...but most importantly...the NIGHTBANE!

“Doctor, do you know why you are here?”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Eric sipped the wine in the glass. “I don’t believe I do. Is it about cyber
space?”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
His host took a sip of his own drink. “I wish that it was as
simple as that twisted labyrinth. No doctor, we are not here to talk about the
Beast or the twisted hunters or even the living avatars. I want to talk to you
about the Mirror Wall.”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“I am not familiar with that”, said the doctor adjusting in
his seat.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
His host put down his drink on the coffee table before them
and proceeded to light up a cigarette.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“I believe you do. As you know there has been disappearances
and talk of monsters. Eric, I don’t need to coat it for you creatures are
coming from somewhere.”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“And you believe it’s this ‘Mirror Wall’?<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Eric you are the foremost expert on dimensional physics. I
cannot claim to know everything but my men have discovered a place in the
Mirror Wall, a fragment as to where Cyberspace resides. I believe I know where
the ‘Night Men’…”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Nightbane”, the doctor corrected.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Yes, the Nightbane, as you call them, come from. The Mirror
Wall holds so many secrets. I believe that I have found where all of these
dimensions cross.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“The Mirror Wall?”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Yes. It is the source of our dimensional fabric. Through it
I have seen the Hell, Dream River, Astral Plane, Heaven and Cyberspace.”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The doctor shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He gulped down
his drink. “Why are you telling me this?” <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Oh doctor,” the host said with a smile, “I want your help
to break it. Could you imagine the power the Mirror Wall has? Why, think of the
power that would be unleashed. All those dimensions capable of being seen all
at once, think of the possibilities.”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The doctor stood up. “This is complete bull. I thought that
you were serious when you asked me to work for you Cornelius. The talk of
Heaven and Hell and nonsense places, I thought you took my work serious?” <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Doctor Houser stood up to leave. He placed his drink down
and was about to thank his host for the invite.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Sit down Eric! What
I am talking about is not as simple as the Matrix or Tron or any other sci-fi
movie you have seen. This is not as simple as going down the rabbit hole, what
we will discover could be the reason why the government is paying us so much to
do this research.”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The doctor had almost put his glass down when he paused. “What
would we gain by this?”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Does it matter? We would be paid till our grandchildren
were old on their death beds if we are correct.”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Eric paused and reflected on the possibility. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“No”, the doctor said finally, calmly. When we discovered
hell, something attempted to get out. When we discovered cyberspace, again
something attempted to get out. When we explored the astral plane…. You get the
picture. I am not going to help you with this project. Not this time Cornelius”.
<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The doctor turned to leave; shock filled his face as he
heard the shot and felt the sharp pain. The servant stood in front of him with
a fire arm pointed and smoking.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Tis a shame” Cornelius said casually.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The two watched as the doctor fell to his knees and then to
his face.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
“Gordon, would you be so kind to clean the doctor from my
study and let the doctors family know that he was in a terrible accident?”<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The servant lowered the gun. “Right away, sir”.<o:p></o:p></div>

<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
The Pariah Faction is one of the original most public/secret
factions. They have the most human appearance but equally aloof as the other
factions. These Ken and Barbie dolls walk among men and women without the
slightest attraction to themselves. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The special thing that separated
Pariah from the rest of the other Factions was their ability to hide in plain
sight. They insist on being in their morphus 7/24. The prime reason for this
was the morphus form is stronger, faster, more intimidating and better looking.
<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Dark Day changed all of that. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Originally they could move freely
among their fellow humans unnoticed but that magical day doomed that.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The most odd of the Pariah is that
they are social outcasts for their forwardness and secret use of their <i>Talents</i>. This has caused them to clash
with people in power as they have occasionally attempt to use their sheer power
to push their way to the top (Remember, they’re Nightbane <i>all the time</i>).<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Before Dark Day they walked down
the streets and had normal jobs. They were postmen, construction workers,
street riff raff, etc. There was no city in the world that they didn’t inhabit.
The only thing that threatened the Pariah Faction was the random Nightlords
attack from one of their princes’ witch was quickly hunted at night and
slaughtered. But that changed. With the coming of Dark Day the Pariah suddenly
were afraid. Their openness was threatened and they were angry. The whole ploy
of the game was to be a Nighbane and not even be known as one. Suddenly they
where pushed into hiding attempting to know about their enemy. For a long time
they were part of the Underground and Resistance. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Through experience they slowly
began to realize that the supernatural Nightlords also enjoyed being in public
without being noticed. Sure, they had control of the government but their
secret was so precious that they would never attack the Pariah openly with out
first attempting to frame them, abduct them, and even murder them in silence
and in the dark.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
They realize their edge. If they
stayed in groups large enough, the Nightlords could not attack. They threatened
the Nightlords with exposure if they attacked. Even if they were marked as
terrorists and street scum, the thought of their supernatural nature being
exposed without the Pariahs scared them. They knew that they could not send
ignorant humans and that Nightbane could sense Nightlord minions. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The Pariah was a boastful bunch.
They would put their boldness in the face of the other less attractive
(horrific?) factions. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The Underground Railroad didn’t
like the openness of the Pariah. The Underground Railroad, interesting enough,
will not even defend the Pariah because they tend to be a bunch of loose cannons.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The Resistance and Freak Club
admired their ability to hide their attacks in plain sight in the form of theft,
muggings and murder. However enmity between the “pretty” and “ugly” caused
enough tension that even they could not merge forces, so they remain strong
allies.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Spook Squad didn’t even suspect
that some of its members were Pariah Nightbane (double agents) until Dark Day
and afterward were more careful in their screening process. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The Pariah are vaguely aware of the
Warlords, Seekers, Nocturnes and Guardians. Their “special” talents draw
attention to themselves but they have shown no interest. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The most interesting faction that
caught their attention was the Freak Club. How anyone would be a Nighbane and
party after Dark Day was beyond them but interesting enough. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
When Dark
Day happened the Pariah Faction was so caught off guard and ill prepared that
the faction almost went into extinction.
Dark Day was so violent for the faction. Their open supernatural scent
was like a lighthouse to a ship. The Nightlords and their minions could not
help but be drawn in and attack. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>The Outer Perimeter<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
There is a
piece of paradise that is occasionally invaded by the Shadow Mantis and other
creatures of the Void. The astral kingdom has thousands of links to other
worlds and is mistaken for “heaven” or some other heavenly place. Perhaps this
is because it’s only accessible in a person astral form by most beings. Out of
the hundreds of millions of humans on Earth and in the Nightlands as well as
countless other beings only a select few (under a hundred) have seen Lightlands
and have lived to tell about it. For the most part, Lightlands are understood
to be a myth and legend and pursuers of the place have disappeared, been
attacked by the Shadow Mantis or other creatures of the Void, or never left the
Lightlands when they got there. There is one other rumor, and that is that the
Lightlords do not want their place disturbed and openly attack those who
attempt to leave without their permission. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Scripture
and other ancient text on the place do not disclose this information and no one
in the Lightlands has led on that there was a problem to those that visit the
place. Only one text book speaks of the attacks from the Lightlands:<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<i>“…and there was a fire
in heaven and the cherubim and the flaming swords slew the champions of good
and evil to be never seen again. So the gods kept the gatekeepers close and the
doors of heaven locked…”<o:p></o:p></i></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<i>~ Angelica Christica ~<o:p></o:p></i></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The ancient text is written in Gallic and later translated
to Latin by an French monk for church wide use. Unfortunately the monk was
tried and hung for publishing such mockery of the church and especially of God
and the heathens were hunted down by the English empire only to never be found.
All the copies of the book were taken and burned leaving very little trace of
the book. Only now can the text can be discovered in very few European
countries but not currently in <st1:country-region w:st="on">America</st1:country-region>
(at least that’s what’s supposed). <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Another
text speaks of the mysterious heaven in the Void by saying:<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<i>“…show me Heaven on
Earth and open mine eyes to the cherubim that guard its gates…<o:p></o:p></i></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
This and dozens of references of similar text are in the
book called <i>Dark Heaven</i>. The book
talks about a war in “heaven” and the banishment of the minions of one called
Son of the Morning. The text is roughly translated English with some other
words that have no translation mixed in the text (-20% to the Language: English
skill). In the text that can be understood there is talk of giant lizards and
winged creates spitting fire and races that are similar to creatures written in
books of fiction. There is also talk of some beings called the Sleeping Ones or
Hidden Ones. Some speculate that these beings are the Lightlords or Greorgian
(those that are aware of them) while others speculate that there are more gods
then the ones spoken by scripture and ancient scrolls and plates. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Many people
have investigated the rumors of the Lightlands by attempting to explore the
Astral Plane and the Dreamstream to uncover the rumors but their shallow search
has revealed nothing and yet the rumors persist. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>The Lightland World<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Lightlands in general appear as a
world that is similar to Earth in its appearance as if it was a pocket
dimension in the Void. Most every city is duplicated and given more angelic
names such as Heavens Gate <st1:state w:st="on">Missouri</st1:state>
(<st1:city w:st="on">St. Louis</st1:city>) but
this is exclusive to the larger cities or cities with more demonic names. Most
every city in the world has a angelic name of sorts and exhibits a similar
landscape as well.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The hills and planes are peaceful
and it’s almost what people would expect of heaven. Larger areas of land mass
allow the animals and people to live almost separate lives. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
The lakes and rivers are similar to
the Nightlands though being oceans of fire. Those “pure” (principle) people
will not be burned by this ever pure water with flames. Not all creatures that
live in the Lightlands are considered pure and thus boats and other means of
travel to cross the oceans are made available.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-size: 16.0pt;">Lightland History<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Back when man was young and earth
was filled with the potential of many worlds, Nightlands was among one of the
many worlds accessible though the Mirrorwall and not easily accessible. But
things don’t stay innocent. As man began to learn and grow in magic and
knowledge, rumor and myth has it, that the Dark began to stir looking for a way
to grow and brew its contempt. Earth was young as I mentioned earlier and so it
knew no evil because it knew no good. Disputations were small and infrequent,
that was before Kane (Cain?) who first discovered the Dark. He made a pact with
the Dark to serve it and do its bidding. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>Kane<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
It is not clear who is Kane the first of the worshipers of
the Dark. Some say that he had ties to the first man on the earth. Others say
that the man Kane was a descendent of a later time after the floods of Noah and
is a descendant of that same man. Being an immortal, he travel the world
teaching the dark arts to those he found worthy. It is said that Kane was
behind every major nation in the world and when he was done with it he would
start a new one, a stronger and larger one. Then with the new armies and navies
he would destroy the old empire that he helped to create. Examples have shown
themselves throughout history; <st1:country-region w:st="on">Greece</st1:country-region>,
<st1:city w:st="on">Rome</st1:city>, <st1:city w:st="on">Babylon</st1:city>, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Samaria</st1:city>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">Egypt</st1:country-region></st1:place>,
and the lists go on and on. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Some say
that his ties to the Lightlands is that he was once a angel of the hosts of the
Lightlands, while others say that the Lightlords kept Kane away from the family
of Adam. Some say that he is a daemon that roams the land in search for
opportunity of greedy and power hungry men. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
To say the least, today Kane roams
the land in search for the blessed lands of Lightlands searching for every
opening and cranny he can get to. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
Kane can be easily identified by
the gross large mark on his face that covers half of his face. This scar is
around his eyes and he covers it with little difficulty; sunglasses a low bill
on his cap, a low covering hood that shielded his eyes, etc. the coming of the
20th century has been a great asset to him; how he doesn’t have to
see his clients in person but via electronic communication. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: .5in;">
He has been the back bone to many
countries. When Dark Day came, Kane knew that the Nightlords would want a piece
of his paradise. Little did he know that the Nightlords would be so powerful
and so impacting, he almost every country that he had started, so he made
uneasy pacts with men of magic to maintain his power over his smaller
countries. Currently he lives as chief advisor to many of the leaders of <st1:country-region w:st="on">New Guinea</st1:country-region>
plotting his chance at expansion again. He keeps a sharp eye out for any Night
Prince or minion of the Nightlands killing them on sight and in secret. This
has lead to rumors of a serial killer in <st1:country-region w:st="on">New Guinea</st1:country-region> that picks political
figures as their targets. Some have become afraid of running for office for the
year 2012. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>The Origins of the
Guardians<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Some people
have the makings of greatness in them. As the scripture says “<i>Many are called, but few are chosen</i>”.
Never could a statement be more true then those from the Guardian origin. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The
Guardians start comes from a simple lifestyle that desires to make a change for
good. These people come from all walks of life. There is no mold that they
truly come from except that they want to be good and fight for good as well.
These individuals at a subconscious level reach out to forces of good; gods,
Lightlords, higher self, etc. From there the details are fuzzy. Some say that
the Guardians get in touch with a fragment of themselves that is connected to
an inner power and start the transformation them selves. Others say that the
power comes from the Higher Beings that are out there that they have reach out
to and they impart some of their essence that starts the transformation. The
Lightlords and Light Princes know their origin but will not say how it is
started or the full effects of becoming a being of light. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>The Conspiracy<o:p></o:p></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b> </b>It has been rumored among some
of the splintered sub-factions of the Guardians that there is a conspiracy
about the Light Princes and their rumored desire to take over Earth. Wile some
say that its mentioned in darker text, others dispute it as a means of hurting
the Guardians.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Part of the
idea is to form a new pantheon of Gods and Angels to be the new saviors of
Earth. The best part of their plan is that they know that the Light Lords are
too busy to know what they are up to keeping some secret safe and unexposed,
although what it is, is unnerving. The plan is still in the works as Earths
inhabitants do not believe in pantheons but for the most part are Christians.
To fight this they have focused their strength on the world that believes in
multiple gods. They hope that their influence and popularity will give them the
strength of getting rid of the Nightlords and their minions. The plan will not
get into full swing for another twelve years as they are still suspicious of
being caught by the Lightlords. They have yet to know the impact of their plan
on the Lightlords and weather or not their plan will be prematurely cut off
before it gets a chance to get into full swing.<o:p></o:p></div>

I wanted to do a campaign about chasing the characters to their goal because it works in the movies/TV. The guys pointed out (in not so many words) they (the characters) would either make it a last stand or scatter like sheep. Both are not good options and make for a lousy campaign. They said the concept is great in movies and TV but not for RPG. What I need is to draw the towards the desired target. So I am now going to co-GM (I'll talk about that in another post) a game an ATB game but my tactic is going to change for a better game. With life as it is, things have been shifted around and the work with Cyberspace will be tested in a real game that I am putting together. I almost have 100 pages written and the fun is just beginning.<br />

There is unfinished villains and dimensional places that really need some fleshing out (skeleton idea but no fleshed). I have so much writing, I really am in heaven with the rush on the work. Wish me luck.<br />
